What is solar energy?
Solar energy comes from harvesting the sun’s rays to create clean electricity through the use of photovoltaic (PV) panels also known as PV modules. There is an unlimited energy potential from the sun ready to be harvested.
How do photovoltaic panels actually work?
Photovoltaic (PV) cells are made of semiconductor material, such as silicon, phosphorous and boron that create the conductivity for the PV modules and activate the electrons or protons making direct current (DC) ready for the inverters that convert that energy into alternating current (AC) for the grid.
How much maintenance do photovoltaic panels require?
Photovoltaic panels require minimal maintenance. A panel clean from dust and debris is an efficient panel in producing energy, meaning more kilowatts per hour of energy produced.
What is net metering?
Net meters look like regular digital outdoor meters with the exception of recording usage of energy but also, subtracting energy produced going into the grid for sale. Solar farms produce positive flow of energy into the grid, in turn, producing a positive cash flow.
Is MacStellar V qualifying for tax breaks?
The local and federal government has tax breaks that MacStellar V solar farm project qualifies for. These credits will equal 30% of total expenditures and installation cost and there is no ceiling on the tax credit. Any excess amount exceeding the tax liability will carry to the succeeding taxable year.

How long will it take for the Company to going on grid?
MacStellar V is preparing to be fully operational by the end of 2017.
Any Plans for future projects?
By year end, MacStellar Energy Inc. will be making preparations to increase its operations to meet 20 mW solar farm projects by 2018. There is already contact with various land owners around the local and county areas of the city of San Antonio. The Company expects to begin a Solar Revolution with the application of our concept of 360ᶱ green sustainability, in addition to the increase need of clean energy.
Who does the Company sell their Energy too?
The typical solar farm sells energy to the local utility energy providers. MacStellar Energy is currently weighing the options of supplying energy to the Municipality of San Antonio (CPS Energy), or to Co-ops located in South Texas needing clean energy. The stronger direction for the Company will prevail and will be first announced to its investors.
Can a solar farm be cost effective from the cost of the PV cell systems?
MacStellar V is very unique, as a great opportunity for return on investment (ROI). Not only will the Company have a 9 to 1 ratio in ROI, compared to the other kind of energy producing methods like: coal 8:1, wind 5:1, nuclear 5:1, biomass 3:1. The Company will also have streams of income produced from the solar farm, Solarcis, Education Center and Agriculture. Every part of MacStellar V, works in synergy reducing cost of maintenance and purchase of less equipment, meaning more Company income.
Does manufacturing of PV panels create toxic by-products and waste?
Photovoltaic panels create far less emissions than any other energy producing method. With the help of Solarcis, we eliminate one more potential problem by recycling our old or used and damaged PV panels. Furthermore, with sheep and livestock, we cut out the constant running of machinery to maintain our project, in turn, lowering any possible toxins added to the environment.
Is energy produced only on warm and sunny days?
Solar/PV systems work even when it’s cloudy. For instance, Germany isn’t known for being a warm and sunny place but its solar power plants produce between 20-30% of all its energy daily. New Jersey and Massachusetts aren’t nearly as sunny as California or Arizona yet New Jersey now ranks 3rd in the country for solar capacity and Massachusetts ranks 4th. Clouds don’t stop the solar UV rays from getting through and power production from Photovoltaic solar panels actually works most efficiently in colder temperatures. Optimum temperature for power production is around 43 degrees Fahrenheit.
