Macstellar II was started in 2012 and reached completion in 2013, its has a production capacity of 280KWh of clean renewable electricity, which is sold to the grid and used my the local residents.
Macstellar II was the first project in which we incorporated livestock grazing in order to aid with maintenance, 10 resident sheep enjoy roaming the large project site, feeding on the grass and in turn lowering our maintenance costs as the panels are kept in better condition without being damaged by vegetation.
The investment for this project was $2.4 million and the construction time from start to finish of the 4 separate mini-sites took 11 months.
